Godowns pand on these Loto, between the Buildings rented by the Military Authorities and the tea -
I have been informed by the Gentleman Acting for the Trustees that these godowns are not rented by Military Authorities, and this was one of my reasons for recommending the shore in Front of the Godown as a suitable place for Entrance to the Regatta Club's Boat House.
I may add that so far from the beach and Godown affected by the proposed Pier being either rented or owned by the Military, they are open for sale or at least for Hire by the Public as appears from the daily advertisement to that effect; of which I enclose a Specimen for His Excellency's information.
